Sciascitiello

Application is located in the Southern Apennine thrust belt, just SW of the foredeep in the buried thrust front. It is adjacent to Candela-Palino Field (850 BCFG recoverable). There are 2 targets: (1) oil in structural traps of Cretaceous-Miocene Apulian platform carbonates and (2) Biogenic gas in structural-stratigraphic traps of Pliocene sands. No wells have been drilled in the application area. Due to the complexity of the overlying allocthonous wedge, 3D seismic is needed to develop prospects.
