Background
Application is located in the Southern Apennine thrust belt, with the thrust front bisecting the block from NW to SE. It is between Candela-Palino Field (850 BCFG recoverable) and Grottole-Ferrandina Field (530 BCFG). There are 2 targets: (1) oil in structural traps of Cretaceous-Miocene Apulian platform carbonates and (2) Biogenic gas in structural-stratigraphic traps of Pliocene sands. 3D seismic is needed to develop prospects.
