B.R273.EN permit is located outside the 12 nautical mile line in Adriatic Zone B. The SW side of the permit is in the thrust belt, on trend with a string of Pliocene reservoir gas fields. (Clara West – 10 BCFG). The NE side of the permit is in the foredeep, adjacent to Barbara Field (1.3 TCFG, Pleistocene reservoir). Tamara-1 well tested a thrusted anticline in the NW corner of the permit area. The well was abandoned after flowing 1.9 MMCFG/d and water from Upper Pliocene (Porto Garibaldi) sands. Evaluation of the permit is underway.
